Do you have a proactive mindset, an endless curiosity, and a passion for continuous improvement in detection and response? The State of North Dakota is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cyber Analysis and Response team to assist with the development of one of the world’s most advanced Cyber Operations Centers. As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will be responsible for the detection, triage, and investigation of security events. You will serve as an incident handler to identify, investigate, mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents impacting the network or endpoints. You will document evidence collected, actions taken during the incident response process, and write incident reports for management, incident stakeholders, and to facilitate lessons learned. You will have the opportunity to be involved in use case development, digital forensics, threat hunting, and malware analysis. You will participate in tabletops, cyber ranges, and purple team exercises to improve your skills, develop a cooperative mindset, and enhance information sharing within the team. You will promote the continuous improvement of the capabilities of the Cyber Operations Center and advance the security posture of the State of North Dakota. Finally, you will be part of a team of fun and passionate cybersecurity professionals who strive every day to empower people, improve lives, and inspire success!
