Job Description

Harmonic Fund Services is an independent financial services firm that specializes in the global

alternative investments industry. We provide comprehensive fund services that include fund

administration, operations outsourcing, fund structuring advice and technology for hedge

funds, fund of funds and private equity vehicles. We operate from offices in Toronto, Geneva,

Dublin, Luxembourg, Shanghai, and the Cayman Islands.

This position is based out of the Toronto or Cayman office.

Looking for a talented and motivated addition to join our Security Team with a focus on protection and preventing security risks by maintaining our software inventory and system configurations.

Duties include

Reviewing recommendations and weakness in vulnerability tools and taking a risk based approach to remediating them
Responsibility for the deployment of system and software updates and patches
Automation of the distribution of software and secure configurations
Staying up to date with vulnerabilities and cybersecurity trends
Reviewing threat Intelligence reports for recommendations and actions
As a secondary function of the job, you may be involved in other areas of CyberSecurity dependent on skills, experience and business requirements.


The position requires an applicant with 3+ years of solid work experience in IT or CyberSecurity in a professional environment. Below are the required technical qualifications and experience

Strong experience with PowerShell for automation and remote administration of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems and cloud environments.
Strong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) for deploying software, updates and secure configurations
Strong experience with troubleshooting common deployment and configuration issues with applications and configuration on Windows Desktop and Server platforms
Excellent communication skills and a cooperative and positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Experience with updating IaaS virtual machines in a public cloud environment


Additional desired qualifications include:

Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable.io, Rapid7, Qualys, Defender Threat and Vulnerability management
Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy
Experience with cloud posture security management systems
Knowledge of CyberSecurity principles
Relevant certifications in system administration and cybersecurity including certifications issued by Microsoft, Comptia, Fortinet, GIAC(SANS), ISC2
