If you are a Cybersecurity Services professional looking for an opportunity to manage a team of service engineers with expertise on cybersecurity solution implementation as well as providing consultation services, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Round Rock, Texas location, you will be responsible for day-to-day managing of a global team of Cybersecurity Engineers and Consultants for Industrial Cybersecurity services delivery. The job role will cover the management of everything to do with IT/OT Security with involvement from initial scoping of requirements, proposals, through design, development, implementation right through to ongoing management of the teams responsible for implementing Cybersecurity Solutions for our customers. The job requires extensive and relevant experience in IT and OT security related roles, giving you a depth of knowledge, which will enable you to effectively manage many aspects of IT Systems, IT Networking, and Cybersecurity in an Operations Technology environment. Knowledge of control systems in general (DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc.) and the inter-communications of how these environments work is pivotal in understanding how OT differs from IT and how to be that trusted advisor to the team and our customers. You will manage highly skilled Engineers and Consultants that are working to identify and safeguard customers against security threats, weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and exploits. You’ll be accountable for keeping your team trained and on track for future developments and trends. You will want to keep up with current trends to help forecast direction of new service and program opportunities and be the Subject Matter Expert in this area that everyone wants to come to for more information about Emerson’s recommended defense-in-depth strategy. As a trusted advisor and leader to the team, you will handle escalations of both a technical and personal level and be able to juggle them into resolutions. You will have the skills to know the answers and know when to find the right people that have the answers you may not already have.

AS A CYBERSECURITY SERVICES MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Manage the activities each of the Cybersecurity Services Engineers and Consultants shall engage on based on the workload and activities the Cybersecurity Group is assigned to
Provide data that is required per the Cybersecurity Group metrics and Evaluate reports to ensure correct utilization of the group as well as informing upper management when more resources are required
Recruit, train and supervise a strongly skilled team of professionals
Execute operational review of all Cybersecurity Group proposals
Record and approve all Cybersecurity Group team’s time for accurate billing/accounting
Perform peer reviews and template designs to improve design specifications
Get involved in design reviews and proposal support for quoting Cybersecurity Solutions and Services
Attend internal and external Kick-Off Meetings to know project scopes and requirements while supporting the Cybersecurity Service Engineers to attain to the project deliverables within the time allocated for the project
Serve as an escalation point to any issues from projects or personnel

WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of practical IT work experience
A minimum of 5 years experience related to management of service teams (preference for service teams engaged on technological solution delivery, a plus if related to industrial control systems).
Experience and knowledge of defense-in-depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions.
Practical experience with security software such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus, whitelisting technologies, patch management solutions, firewalls, routing/switching, packet analysis, among others.
Experience with cybersecurity standards, frameworks and practices adopted by multiple industries (e.g. ISA99/IEC 62443, NERC, NIST, etc.).

Design reviews and proposal support for quoting project work
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with ability to clearly communicate technical information to a range of audiences.
Highly motivated to work in the security area and interact with customers.
CISSP / GICSP cybersecurity certifications, or similar accreditation from recognized entities such as SANS, ISACA, (ISC)2.
Knowledge about Security Operations Center (SOC).
Experience in design, implementation, or life cycle support of process automation and control systems.
Experience with Industrial Control System challenges in multiple industries.
