It appears that Skype uses this port. Seems that when a client acts as a 'supernode' you will see a lot of traffic from all over the world on this port.

A misconfigured Discovery scan on the Symantec System Center can cause a tremendous amount of traffic on this port. As per Symantec at <http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/6fffc7260966992188256bf300818635/3b6cae8d3ff27e0b88256c87007a7ba1?OpenDocument> A high amount of traffic may indicate that the Symantec System Center Discovery service is configured to run frequent intense discoveries.
