Larry Seltzer over at ZDNet has noticed that since the release of OS X Mavericks that Apple has stopped updating OS X Mountain Lion.  Although Apple is not forthcoming with the reasons for this, it appears this is a departure from past behavior.

"UPDATE: An Apple spokesperson told ZDNet the company has not changed its update policy"

Nothing to see here.
"Nothing to see here."

Yep, fanbois don't want you looking too close. Transparency ... er, obscurity's the best policy.
Of course, they won't say what their policy is, just that it hasn't changed. But in the past they have always updated at least the immediately previous version of OS X. Not this time.
What vulnerability is it that they have patched on the new OS that needs to also be patched in Mountain Lion?
